Yesterday, Montgomery County PA schools and daycares closed for the next two weeks due to coronavirus concerns. Other schools in the area in Maryland, New Jersey, and Ohio are also closing with more to follow.
Kids are now beginning distance learning online, though we are waiting for instructions from my kids' teachers.
If your kids are stuck at home and you're looking for learning activities to keep them busy, check out these 50 educational websites for kids when schools are closed.

Starting with sessions Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, the National Constitution Center is launching a free eight-week series of daily live interactive courses on the Constitution for middle school, high school, and college students. President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen, a renowned law professor and constitutional expert, will lead the courses along with the National Constitution Center’s Kerry Sautner, chief learning officer, and Tom Donnelly and Nicholas Mosvick, senior fellows in constitutional studies. These daily interactive sessions, offered at noon for middle school students and at 1 p.m. for high school and college students, will allow students to sign up for remote learning via Zoom where they can participate in daily lectures and lively conversations about the basic principles of the U.S. Constitution.
The 1 p.m. courses on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays will be available at constitutioncenter.org/live.
