It is said that dogs are man's best friend. My family would say that was true.
We had a bassett hound/beagle mix we named Oreo. My husband and I fell in love with her when we saw her as a puppy and brought her home. She was black and white and reminded us of an Oreo cookie. Oreo was like another family member and dearly loved. Because of life circumstances, we had to place her in another home. It was a tough decision for all of us, but we did what was best for Oreo and our family at the time. We still miss her and hope to be able to have another family pet some day.

ReplyDeleteI have a one-eyed Jack Russell Terrier. She is my best friend. I adopted her from the shelter. She was hit by a car (that's why she only has 1 eye) and recently had a cancerous lump in her face that we had to have removed. She is still THE happiest dog ever. She loves everyone no matter what they look like or who they are. She is my inspiration to have a good outlook on life no matter what it throws your way!
ReplyDeleteI have a pug, and he is the cutest, sweetest little boy anyone could ask for. He is my baby and takes great care of me. Pugs are absolutely the best dog for anyone.

ReplyDeleteI have one dog named piper. She is so kind and sweet!
