Are you the parent of a child ages 8-18 who enjoys strategy games like Scrabble and RUBIK's©? Then you may have heard about the Hasbro 2018 Gaming Championships coming this weekend to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. It's sure to be a fun family-friendly event!
More than 200 SCRABBLE players and 60 Rubik's players from across North America, including more than 30 Philadelphia-area students, will compete. Participants ages 8 to 18 will put their extraordinary skills to the test in the ultimate word and puzzle scrambling competitions. This is the first year that RUBIK's© players have been invited to attend this annual event!
Even more exciting, last year's SCRABBLE Division champ, Will Anderson, will return as a guest host. Anderson will be available for interviews, autograph signings, and leading a "Masterclass" on Saturday to share some of his infamous SCRABBLE tips.
