Review:
Smurfs: The Lost Village is definitely one of our favorite movies of the year! I love that this film is all about girl power; it focuses on Smurfette and how she stumbles upon a new smurf she has never seen before. This leads her to a fun discovery of adventure and a feeling of belonging in a way she has never experienced. (Can you imagine being the only girl in your tribe?)
There are some great themes for kids about growing up, accepting who you are, and understanding that we are all unique and embracing the things that make us "different."

My two girls loved every heart warming minute of it from the catchy songs to the funny moments like when Julia Roberts as SmurfWillow says "Whatever you say, Papa thing."
This is one DVD I know we will be watching over and over again! (can you say Meghan Trainor on repeat?)
