Are books on your holiday wish list?  There are two great Christmas themed compilation books on my Holiday Gift Guide this year that you are sure to enjoy:  Where Treetops Glisten and An Amish Second Christmas.

An Amish Second Christmas by Tricia Goyer, Beth Wiseman, Ruth Reid, and Kathleen Fuller is next on my reading list.  I've always been fascinated by the Amish culture and find their Christmas traditions very interesting!

What is Second Christmas?

According to author Tricia Goyer, an Amish Second Christmas
in some areas is celebrated the next day or a few weeks later.  It represents the visit of the wise men to the Christ child.    The Amish celebrate a simple holiday; usually only the children receive presents.  And they do not decorate their homes like we do with Christmas trees and holiday decor.
