Lalaloopsy Color Me Doll {Holiday Gift Guide} #ad #holidaygiftguide

I received a Lalaloopsy Color Me Doll for review purposes.  All opinions are my own.

My daughter has been in love with all things Lalaloopsy since she saw the cartoon on Nickelodeon.  There's something about these cute dolls with button eyes; even the name is just plain fun!

One of the latest hot toys this holiday season is the Lalaloopsy Color Me Doll.  AK was ecstatic to find that this was a Lalaloopsy doll that she could draw on {coloring with markers on a doll is not something she usually gets to do so this was definitely exciting}!

Trace E. Doodles

Before we opened Trace E. Doodles {AK loves that name!}, I had to explain to her that this is a special doll with special markers and that ONLY this doll could be drawn on.   We read about how Trace E. Doodles was made from a chalkboard drawing and that she loves to draw and paint with her pet Zebra.  And since she likes to draw and paint, Trace E. Doodles needs someone to color her and make her happy.

 We set the doll on a piece of newspaper so we wouldn't get marker on anything else. AK had no problem getting out the markers and drawing all over her.  The markers are bright colors and can be used to color the stamps for even more decorating.  This is an almost four year old doll lover's dream!

Trace E. Doodles

You're probably wondering how messy this is...yes the markers did get on her hands.  It's a bit messy, but the markers washed off her hands no problem {just be careful of clothing, the instructions say that it may not wash off}.    You also need to be careful once your child has drawn on the doll.  When picking up the doll, the marker rubbed off the doll and onto her hands again.  {I'm not sure if that's because it hadn't dried long enough or not}

The best part is that you can wash the doll with water and the included small sponge {it may require a bit of scrubbing depending on how long you've left the marker on} and start all over again!

The Lalaloopsy Color Me Doll will bring out the artistic side of your little Lalaloopsy fan.  It makes a great gift for ages 4+.
