Liberty's Kids, an animated series for kids ages 7+, teaches Revolutionary War history in an exciting and entertaining way.
This historical tv series (released on DVD July 16th) brings history to life with guest voices of award-winning film legends like Annette Bening, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Whoopi Goldberg, Liam Neeson and features the voice of news resporter Walter Cronkite as Benjamin Franklin.

ReplyDeleteI like that the series comes from the perspective of young people. I think it makes it easier for children to understand and appreciate history when it is presented in from a perspective that they can relate to.

What appeals to me is that it's a good homeschooling research to supplement our American history lessons.

ReplyDeleteI like that it's geared towards kids. History was one of my favorite subjects in high school and in college and I would love for my two granddaughters to start learning about and appreciating all that History teaches us as well.
I like that it teaches history in an exciting way. Truth be told, I hated history as a child. Who knows, I may love watching this with my kids and I can learn a thing or two!

I think it's a real fun way for children to learn a little history
ReplyDeleteI actually watched this show growing up and although it's not super accurate, I believe that it gives a new perspective on history. I love how educational and fun it is. Kids don't even remember that it's "real" sometimes because they are enjoying it so much.
