Disclosure: I received a copy of Thank You, God, for Puppies & Thank You, God, for Kittens for review purposes as as a Tommy Nelson Mommy. No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own. For more info. see my Disclosure Policy.
This month's Tommy Nelson Mommy selections were quite timely for National Children's Book week. The Attic Baby and I celebrated by going to the library for story time followed by a fun craft.

This Cat Mask was a simple but fun activity to reinforce the story selections:
My daughter loved putting this up to her face, walking up to me, and pretending to be a kitten saying "Meow!"
This mask also wonderfully went along with our latest read, Thank You, God, for Kittens and can be adapted for Thank You, God for Puppies.
The Attic Baby loves having me read these aloud multiple times. My only word of caution: your child may ask for a kitten or a puppy as a pet after reading!
Both books are available on the Thomas Nelson Website for $6.99.

a Rafflecopter giveaway
This month's Tommy Nelson Mommy selections were quite timely for National Children's Book week. The Attic Baby and I celebrated by going to the library for story time followed by a fun craft.

This Cat Mask was a simple but fun activity to reinforce the story selections:
- Simply copy a cat face onto colored construction paper and cut out holes for the eyes.
- Use pipe cleaner for the whiskers (my munchkin chose just one but you can add a couple more if you wish) by poking small holes through the back of the construction paper.
- Then glue a craft stick to the back.
My daughter loved putting this up to her face, walking up to me, and pretending to be a kitten saying "Meow!"
This mask also wonderfully went along with our latest read, Thank You, God, for Kittens and can be adapted for Thank You, God for Puppies.
God bless my kitty, and God bless me! She’s as pretty as she can be!
We currently no longer have pets, but my daughter is fascinated with animals. These are wonderful picture books with adorable kitten/puppy poses and fun rhyming text. They teach thankfulness for the blessings of having these cute pets/animals in children's lives. And they allow discussion for animal behaviors and sounds with children ages 1-5.
God bless my puppy, and God bless me! Thank You, God, for giving him to me!
The Attic Baby loves having me read these aloud multiple times. My only word of caution: your child may ask for a kitten or a puppy as a pet after reading!

We have a domestic cat and a black lab both of whom we adopted from the county animal shelter and they are great! If you are looking for a pet please check out an animal shelter near you for a loving companion! We also have some tropical fish. I would give this to my little cousin or nephew.
