Looking for some activities to do with your family that are wallet-friendly?  Free Fall Baltimore presented by Susquehanna Bank might be right up your alley!

This 7th annual event offers over 300 FREE arts and culture events to Baltimore residents and visitors in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month Oct. 1-31, 2012

This is a great opportunity for your family to enjoy free art exhibitions, concerts, dance and theater performances, workshops, admission to museums and more!




Here are just a few of the upcoming fun Kids' Events you may be interested in:

free admissionB& O Railroad Museum:  Free Admission Tues Oct 9 & 23, 10am – 4pm
Costumed living historians will provide information on various aspects of railroading, travel, and military life during the Civil War. Guided tours of the exhibit in the Roundhouse will also be available. 

Baltimore Museum of Industry:  Free Admission Sun Oct 21 & 28 10am – 4pm
Learn about Baltimore’s printing, shipping, canning, transportation and garment industries

Black Cherry Puppet Theater:   Sun Oct 7, 14 & 21 – Puppet shows at 1pm and 3:30pm, Puppet workshop at 1:30pm
Featuring puppet-making workshops, giving participants the opportunity to create their own puppets and become puppeteers themselves.

Creative Alliance at the Patterson Halloween Lantern Parade & Festival
Sun Oct 14 & 21 Workshops at 10am, 12:30pm & 3pm
Sat Oct 27 Halloween Festival – 3:30 – 6:30pm, Parade Line-up – 7pm, Parade steps off – 7:30pm
FREE lantern making, performances by Sac Au Lait and...food trucks and a FREE hayride!


Baltimore events
Kids Month Petting Zoo in Center Plaza:  Wednesday, October 10, 11am –1pm
Free petting zoo, children’s entertainment, and snacks

Scarecrow Making and Pumpkin Painting at BMI Farmers’ Market
Saturday, October 6, 9a.m.-1p.m
Kids are invited to stuff scarecrows and paint pumpkins for the fall for FREE!  Plus you can buy fresh local fruits and vegetables; meat and poultry; milk, ice cream, and butter; plants and cut flowers.






Seating may be limited at some locations, so check on the Events page if the event you want to attend requires advance reservation.
