My Review/Thoughts:

I have not seen all of the Ice Age movies, but I have seen snippets.  (I probably was on the computer while my son watched)  One of the characters that I find very entertaining is Scrat the squirrel.  He makes me laugh when he will go through any length to get his beloved nut.    Scrat was just as entertaining in this short film!

I also found the other characters to be very amusing.  The writers take traditional Christmas items and "rethink" them for the ice age characters.  I'm sure kids will find it amusing that Christmas trees are decorated with worms and fish skeletons.  There is even a guest appearance by Santa.  My husband and I both chuckled throughout at the quips and clever plot line.  (I don't want to give too many spoilers here)

This is a lot shorter than the Ice Age movies; it is only about 25 minutes in length.  That is good for parents who aren't into watching long cartoons and for younger children with shorter attention spans.  But if you're looking for a full length movie, then you might be disappointed that this is so short.

Over all,  this is fun family entertainment!
