Teaser Tuesdays: The Jane Austen Handbook

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"HOW TO BE A GOOD CORRESPONDENT....Do not end a courtship via letter. No one ever looks good doing so."

pg. 46 The Jane Austen Handbook:  Proper Life Skills from Regency England by Margaret C. Sullivan

What are you reading? If you have a teaser, you can head on over to Miz B's blog or share it here by leaving a comment.

  1. That is so true. It's just tacky on all levels.

  2. Of course, doing so via twitter, email or text messaging is even worse than that! Excellent teaser! Mine: Alice in Wonderland
