Well there’s May the 1st and Wookiee Life Day, but you’ll REALLY be able celebrate this earthly holiday season with these Star Wars titles that have shaken up both the Galactic Empire and Republic this year. Lucasfilm and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brought our universe these 2011 critical releases.
As Yoda would most-likely say, “Your collection complete, and to the galaxy bring balance.”
STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA ON BLU-RAY
This nine-disc collection brings the wonder of the entire Saga direct to your living room this Christmas, where you can revisit all of your favorite Star Wars moments – in gorgeous high definition and with pristine, 6.1 DTS Surround Sound. It boasts an unprecedented 40+ hours of special features, highlighted by never-before-seen content sourced from the Lucasfilm archives.
With numerous deleted, extended and alternate scenes, new and vintage documentaries and a cross-section of the countless Star Wars spoofs that have appeared in pop culture over the past three decades you may have to spend your entire vacation geeking out on Tatooine and Hoth.
For fans that are only in need of the Trilogies, you’ll be happy to know that Episodes IV-VI and I-III are available in separate Blu-ray packages (artwork below). Ever since the first theatrical release of A New Hope in 1977 the franchise has been revealing new midi-chlorian activity in each young Jedi as they discover their connection to The Force.
Star Wars Trilogy Episodes IV-VI on Blu-ray
Star Wars Trilogy Episodes I-III on Blu-ray
LEGO® STAR WARS®: The Padawan MenaceTM
Cozy up by the fire with a cup of cocoa and thoughts of sugar plums…err Legos! Who doesn’t love Legos. You can reminisce about seeing Episode 1 in the theatre and your childhood at the same time. The Cartoon Network and Lucasfilm teamed up to bring us this 22-minute original standalone special about Jedi younglings and includes 5 additional shorts and an exclusive and collectible minifigure, which makes it a perfect stocking stuffer for any fan.
