Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
We're going through another heat wave here in Maryland. It's about 98 right now and only going to get hotter. We've been keeping our thermostat set on 73 to try to save on energy. Hoping not to get hit hard by the electric bill this month.
My Question for You This Week: What do you set your thermostat on during the hot summer months?
Shelly, we set ours at 74 and it keeps us pretty comfortable. I hate to see our electric next bill too. :(
ReplyDeleteWell, we just got our AC fixed yesterday, so we've been suffering through without it so far. It's been AWFUL here in Va Beach!!! I guess we normally set it at 71 or so. :)
ReplyDeleteWe set our's at the same temperature year round. 72
ReplyDeleteOurs is set to low 80 degrees... but, depending on how I feel I might turn it down a touch. Have a great Friday!
ReplyDeleteWe keep it around 68 ish...
ReplyDeleteI do not like to be hot!
As low as it can go lol but really we try 70 but sometimes even that's too hot!
ReplyDeleteI have increased it to 79-80 during the day and 76 at night. Our temps have been in the high 90's, so I increased the temp in order to be able to handle the heat outside.
ReplyDeleteI keep ours at 80 night and day. We are trying to save as much as possible.
ReplyDelete78 when we're not home, and 74 when we are home.
ReplyDeleteI have it set for different times of the day. I'm pretty good at shutting the blinds etc.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

ReplyDelete78 during the day and 76 at night
ReplyDeleteI have to set it to at least 78 because if I don't, the upstairs reaches like 99 degrees, oy! Oh, my electric bill...
