Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Today is Good Friday. For my family, this is a time of reflection on Jesus, his amazing love, and his sacrifice on the cross. On Sunday, we will celebrate his resurrection and the promise of salvation.
John 3:16,17
(16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Happy Easter =)
