Aloha Friday: They Drive Me Crazy

writing prompts, blogging prompts

Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

I don't enjoy my morning commute to take my son to school. It takes me between 30-45 minutes to get there and the same amount of time to get back. And every morning I get annoyed by some driver who thinks that they are inside a video game. I get cut off, nearly run into, and have to hit my breaks more often than I would like. The traffic on the highways I have to take to get there really stinks!

Oh, and don't get me started about the people who don't know what a turn signal is or what a safe driving distance between you and the car in front of you is for.....

My Question For This Week Is: What drives you crazy?

  1. Peopke who are late all the time. Once in a while with a good excuse I get, but chronic lateness is just plain rude.

  2. Lateness, rudeness, and people who liek to tell me what I need to do or not do for my bipolar son ahving NEVER dealt with teh issue personally. THAT is my clincher..

  3. Too many commercials on the radio.
Crazy drivers don't really bother me as long as they stay far away from my car.

    Have a great Friday!

  4. As far as driving, I'm with you on the no turn signal thing. And I HATE it when people making a right turn in front of me take a half-hour to turn; just go, already!! Oh, and when someone jumps in front of me, cutting me off, just to turn or switch lanes right away. Really, you couldn't have waited that half a second??

  5. I hate when people give total strangers parenting advice (unless said stranger specifically asked for advice), and I hate when people talk down to kids, as if they're a lower life form than adults!

  6. Can I just say my Mother In Law. She drives me crazy all the time!! no? Okay, well then people who are constantly telling me what to do with my kids. I HATE that. I am their mother I know what is best for them.

Thanks for dropping by my attic! I love comments! Please keep them family-friendly.
