In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My hubby & I both had the day off today and went on a breakfast date. It was so nice to get out together on a week day! We went to Friendly's for their Two Do breakfast. I don't usually eat a lot at breakfast, but today I had scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries. Delish!
My Question This Week is: Where is your favorite place to go on a date with your significant other/spouse?
Well, I'm not sure if you would consider it a date, but I love going on walks in pretty places at night. We go to Old Town Scottsdale here in Arizona some times and just walk around at night. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea! lol We moved to a new state this summer and have not gone on a proper date here together - no idea when we will either as we have no family around and a newborn baby. In our old home we typically liked the generic dinner and a movie. Applebees was a place we frequented or Pizzeria Unos.
ReplyDeleteTo our favorite restaurant or picknic at the beach.
ReplyDeleteout to eat just the two of us.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I would have to have one first :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day!
We love to go to a mexican restaurant that has been here since I was a kid. El gallito, it is a small little restaurant on the highway and they have great margaritas... LOVE it!
ReplyDelete:)
A bed & breakfast. A nice break from the kids & home & breakfast is included! What could be better?
ReplyDeleteOur favorite date is the once a week trip to our local Buffalo Wild Wings where we can just relax with each other and play their trivia games all night and watch whatever game is on tv.
ReplyDeleteAt this point anywhere since we never get to do it with our schedules.
ReplyDeleteThe movies. But haven't been to one in over a year!
ReplyDeleteWhat? A date, you say? The last time we went on a date was my birthday, when we got to go see Harry Potter 6. It was the first movie we'd been to in almost two years. Wow.
ReplyDeleteWhen we can afford it, there's a delicious Indian restaurant we love to go to. Usually we stay in and watch Netflix and call it a date if there's dessert!
There happens to be a quaint little Greek restaurant in our area which I just LOVE! They serve great food and I always "request" to go there.
ReplyDeleteWell, with a little one we don't go out too often anymore.....but I'd love to just have a relaxing evening walking around after a nice cozy dinner somewhere then stop by Starbucks for a fun coffee. Simple but fun.
ReplyDeleteThere is a shore&park very close to house..music, cafe&bar. Nice atmosphere. Now summer is over:(
ReplyDeleteWe love movies. But we can't go out with a kid too often.
Usually sit for long periods of time at the dinner table then rent a movie.
anywhere the children are not (ok just kidding)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? just out to eat the 2 of us....we get to eat and talk and enjoy each other's company....we used to love playing board games together too
I think we've had about one date each year we've been married, lol. We generally got to Panera or Starbucks and then the bookstore. So romantic, I know.
ReplyDeleteWe like to go to the movies. We have the same taste in genres {except he hates chick flicks}, and enjoy a night out at the theatre with some popcorn. Thanks for your comment. I enjoyed all my Barbie accessories. I wish I still had the house and Corvette. Aloha and take care.

Dinner at Cheesecake Factory!
ReplyDeleteDinner and a movie... a rare treat !
ReplyDeleteI am happy just being ANYWHERE on a date with my husband. I ♥ him so much. :D
ReplyDeleteOkay, after our one day "staycation", I must say, I don't want a date night. Now, do Fridays mean relaxation for mom's too, or just more work because dad's are relaxing. Because that is what happened here (I will blog about it next week for the WHOLE story but seriously, what is with men???)
ReplyDeleteOh, anywhere to EAT! LOL! Hubs and I really enjoy going to the movies and dinner when we can manage to leave our little one with family.
