The Party Continues

Thanks for stopping by my page! I am a recent work-from-home mom who co-owns an Ebay store with my hubby. We sell new and gently used name brand clothing, shoes, accessories, and other unique items. I enjoy reading Christian fiction, blogging, talking to friends on Facebook (recent addict) and spending time with my family.

This is my first time participating in the Ultimate Blog Party. This is a fun way to connect with other women and to win some great prizes! You can visit Five Minutes For Mom to see all the details and find links to other great blogs!

Here are my top three prize picks:
Beginner Baby Blog #22; Target Gift Card
Agoosa.Com #21; Target Gift Card
A High and Noble Calling#68; Christian Book Distributors Gift Certificate

If my top picks are already chosen, I'd also like (in this order): #11, #13, #36, #45.

Feel free to leave me a comment or to Sign My Guestbook. You can also visit my store through this link (or by clicking on my Ebay widget): www.donnydixonsattic.com

I am having a blast at this year's Ultimate Blog Party 2009! I am meeting new people and enjoying reading new blogs that I may not have stumbled upon otherwise. It's so much fun to see all of the different layouts and read different writing styles of moms of all ages and from different places. Being a newbie to the blogging scene, I am learning some great tips and getting lots of ideas!

If you have not hooked up with the party, you can find out more here at Five Minutes For Mom. You can meet new moms and have the chance to win fun prizes!

It's officially spring, and I can't wait to go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine today! Yesterday, my hubby and I went to the park with our dog to get all of us some much needed exercise. We walked the park trails, but it was still chilly enough to need a jacket and the wind was a little nippy. Today, it is supposed to be near 64 degrees so I am hoping we can stay at the park longer.

I love walking along the trails and looking for signs of spring. We have seen a lot of robins and new buds on the trees and shrubs. The park has a small farm with animals; the goats have new kids that were frolicking playfully and were very amusing to watch yesterday. It's as though the world is waking up from a small slumber and is stretching and yawning, ready for a new day of surprises. It reminds me of God's amazing and creative hand stretching out to show me His love and renewal. I am so thankful for the change of seasons and the chance to enjoy the beautiful weather!
