Gifted is coming to theaters April 7th, and this is surely a movie you will not want to miss!   If you're a Chris Evans fan, this father-figure role is sure to touch your heart.

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy - his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) - in a coastal town in Florida.  Frank's plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven-year-old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary.  Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend.  Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

Whether you're a single parent or a married parent, raising your children to achieve their full potential is not an easy job.  All parents will be able to relate to the topics in this film.  And seven-year-old Mckenna Grace is sure to steal the show!

I'm excited to see this film next month and to bring you this movie swag from Fox Searchlight!  Scroll down to enter.

I love stories with children as the spotlight when it is good on them. I am good at math, not like her, but people could not believe how fast I could add.

I like the fact that a father is trying to raise his daughter by himself. I like that he still considers the mother's thoughts and ideals for the daughter. I think overall this would be a great movie to see :)

Well, I love Octavia Spencer, so that is enough for me! But, I did also see a trailer for this movie last night, and the story seems like it would be a good one.

This movie appeals to me because it's a family type movie, suitable for parents and children.
