Look I'm Reading! Bible Storybook #TommyMommy #sponsored

I received a copy of Look I'm Reading Bible Storybook for review as a Tommy Nelson Mommy.  All opinions are mine.

My oldest daughter is in Kindergarten and is eager about learning to read.  We practice sight words throughout the week and have daily homework.  {You'd be surprised at how different Kindergarten is from just a few years ago!}  She is very excited when she recognizes sight words and can read them all by herself!

Rebus stories can be fun for those just learning to read with help from a parent.  Certain words or phrases are substituted with pictures so that your child can read along with you.  AK received the Look I'm Reading! Bible Storybook from the Read and Share series recently and loves it!

Tommy Nelson, rebus Bible stories, Rebus stories, giveaways, Read and Share, book reviews, children's books

This new approach to favorite Bible stories is geared toward ages 4 to 8 and helps them gain confidence in reading.  These 18 stories are shorter in length and cover Bible stories from both the Old and New Testaments.  Each one has a Scripture reference under the title so that you can look up the verses in the Bible too.  The pictures are carton-like and appealing to younger readers.

I love watching AK's face light up when she recognizes some of her sight words in the text.   She feels proud of herself for being able to read the rebus pictures and sight words on her own.  I know she will be even more excited when she is able to read the harder words for herself.  It's a great confidence booster!

I highly recommend the Look I'm Reading! Bible Storybook for kids who are in preschool through about 2nd grade.
