 Dreamworks movies
It's hard to believe, but it is the 15th anniversary of Dreamworks SHREK movie!  I remember watching it for the first time and completely cracking up.  It takes your average fairy tale and turns it upside down on its head with off-beat humor for the whole family to enjoy!  (mind you there is some language in it like an alternative word to donkey)

While there are many likeable characters, my favorite is Donkey.  Eddie Murphy is downright hilarious!

Shrek Anniversary Edition

You’ve never met a hero quite like SHREK, winner of the first
Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature. The endearing ogre sparked a motion picture phenomenon and captured the world’s imagination with...the Greatest Fairy Tale Never Told! This irreverent animated masterpiece arrives on Digital HD on May 16, 2016 and Blu-ray™ and DVD on June 7 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

SHREK Anniversary Edition

SHREK “not just a brilliant animated feature, but a superb film on any level” (Larry King, USA Today). Relive every moment of Shrek’s (Mike Myers) daring quest to rescue feisty Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), with the help of his lovable loudmouthed Donkey (Eddie Murphy), and win back the deed to his beloved swamp from scheming Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow). Enchantingly irreverent and “monstrously clever” (Leah Rozen, People Magazine), SHREK is an ogre-sized adventure you’ll want to see again and again.

Stay tuned to our social media channels as we have our own SHREK Swampathon!  We'll be watching all four movies and celebrating with green themed items and games.  Just follow #Swampathon to see all the fun #FHEInsiders are up to!

In the meanwhile, you can download these printables to have your own movie night at home.

My favorite fairy tale is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I love the way she tastes all that porridge, sits in three chairs, checks out the beds and falls fast asleep. I remember my mom imitating the voices of each bear and so me and my 3 siblings did that, too.
