Pfizer Pediatric Products Plus Giveaway #SickJustGotReal #sponsored

The Pfizer Pediatric Platform products, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own.

Pfizer Pediatric Products

It's spring and we've had really up and down weather lately.  Besides the pollen causing seasonal allergy symptoms, we've gone from warm to cold and snowy within a span of a few days.  It's crazy!

Along with the crazy weather, it's inevitable that someone is going to get sick.  With little ones, it's easy for them to catch colds & viruses, especially when spending a lot of time around other kids in public places.    No matter how we try to prevent them by washing hands and wiping down surfaces, those germs will find us.

When my kids are sick, I want to do everything I can to help them feel better.  Our usual go-to's for fighting colds are lots of hydration (water, & orange juice for vitamin C), running a cool mist humidifier, and lots of cuddles on the couch with mom.

I also rely on Pfizer Pediatric products when medicine is necessary for fever and cough relief.

Children’s Advil® is a great solution for aches, pains and fever in kids as young as 2 and up to 11.  My oldest daughter is super finicky about the taste of medicine.  Luckily, Children's Advil® has several flavors like Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape.   We have spent many shopping trips looking just for the bubble gum kind!

Children's & Infants' Advil

For my youngest, Infants’ Advil® White Grape works for her since it has an easy syringe and is for children 6 to 23 months.  I've used both products for over 15 years and counting (between my 3 kids) and it has really helped with everything from colds to ear infections and vaccinations.

Robitussin Day & Night
Coughs and congestion can be really miserable, especially at night!  I like the Children's Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack because it offers a day time solution and a special formula just for night time when coughing can be even worse when they are trying to sleep (Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough).    My hubby and I have spent many a night up with one of the girls who had a miserable cough that kept everyone awake.   We've run the shower as hot as we could blast it and sat with them in the steam more times than I can count.

Children's Dimetapp Cold & Cough
And for those times that your child has a constantly running or snuffy nose, Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough can help too.*

*It is important to remember to always read and keep the cartons for complete warnings and dosing information on Pfizer Pediatric Platform products and to use as directed

 Sick Just Got Real
If you're not sure what medicine is right for your child, the Sick Just Got Real website is a great resource for parents.  They have recommendations based upon your child's symptoms as well as some great "sick hacks".  (The mom dictionary is pretty amusing)

As a mom, it can be so hard to see your little ones feeling miserable.  It's good to know that I can keep my medicine cabinet stocked with Pfizer products from Target for those moments when #SickJustGotReal!

To learn more, visit the Sick Just Got Real website and visit their Facebook page.

Kids that are sick need a lot of positive attention. Some things I do when my daughter is sick and running a fever; I give her tubby time in luke warm water to help with her fever, I make a special spot on the couch for her to lay down and usually I rub her head to soothe her, I spend more quality time with her to let her know that she is loved.

I used to keep them dry & cool. I gave them fever reducers and a cool cloth to put on their foreheads. I tried to push a lot of liquids down them; soup, tea, water, ginger ale. I also held them or slept near them when they asked. I really miss that now!

We wash our hands often, and diffuse essential oils, during the sick seasons.
