We are huge fans of personalized books; my girls love seeing their name in print! And who doesn't want a story that is about them?
Put Me In The Story's latest book centers around the theme to #BringHistoryToLife. It is called My Name is not Isabella.
The little girl (insert your child's name here) wakes up one day and decides she is no longer Isabella; she becomes different women from history!
I like that you can add your child's photo and dedication. It makes it more personal than just adding your child's name.
One of my favorite parts is when the little girl pretends to be her mommy.
At the end of the book, there is a summary of each woman and her place in history. It's a wonderful way to introduce girls to some very important women like Rosa Parks, Madame Curie, Sally Ride, and more!
After her adventures, the little girl decides that she is just as happy being herself too. Such a great lesson for girls to accept who they are and realize they are just as special as the women who have come before them! This book not only encourages girls to dream and be anything they want to be, but to use their own special talents to make a mark on the world.
I loved reading this with my daughter and I know you will too! (There is also a version for boys called My Name is Not Alexander featuring famous men in history)
