We are huge fans of the hit Disney Junior show Sofia the First! My preschooler specifically asks me to DVR the show so she won't miss a single episode. If you haven't seen it, Sofia's an adorable little girl who becomes a Princess when her mother marries the King. Sofia isn't used to being royalty and has to learn how to fit into her new role as a step-sister and Princess.
AK was over the moon excited when we received the latest DVD release Sofia the First: Holiday in Enchancia! Sofia goes on a brave journey to find King Roland when a big snowstorm prevents him from returning home to celebrate "Wassailia."
Princess Aurora from Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" makes a special appearance to help Sofia and her animal friends reunite the royal family. AK is a fan of Sleeping Beauty too and loved seeing her appear in the holiday episode. The episode is very heartwarming and focuses on the importance of spending time with loved ones. Sofia also learns that it is better to give than to only receive. It's perfect to watch on a snowy cold winter day.

The DVD not only includes 118 minutes of great episodes, but it comes with an adorable light-up holiday ornament. AK can't wait to put it on the tree next year!
My daughter adores this Disney Junior show. Not only are there princesses, magic, great songs, and adventure, but each show features strong character qualities and lessons about courage, friendship, being yourself, and kindness towards others. Those are features that make this show so endearing.
