WubbaNub Infant Pacifiers: Great Stocking Stuffer for Baby's First Christmas! #holidaygiftguide #sponsored

I received a WubbaNub pacifier for review purposes.  All opinions are my own.

This year we are celebrating The Attic Baby's first Christmas!  She will be nearly 5 months old and we can't wait to share the holiday for the first time as a family of five.

One of our favorite gifts for Baby's First Christmas is usually an ornament for the tree.  Each of my kids has one to commemorate their first Christmas with us.  But I have also been looking for other cute gifts for her first Christmas and stumbled upon this thing called a WubbaNub.

A Wubba what?  Yes, that's what I thought at first too.  It has an intriguing name.  But it also has a great purpose and was created by a mom who wanted to solve the problem of not being able to find her baby's pacifier.  I'm sure you can relate to that binky problem too!  Those binkies get dropped easily and can't always be found if they blend into the carpet or the crib.  I have found myself often sticking my finger in the pacifier hole just to keep it in reach of her mouth and that can be tedious.

Pink Bear

The WubbaNub was created to help this problem.  It is not only a BPA, PVC, Latex and Pthalate hospital grade soothie for baby's under 6 months {it's recommended they not have teeth}.  It has an adorable baby sized stuffed animal attached onto it.  This allows for the pacifier to stay in baby's mouth longer and make it bit easier to find in the diaper bag or if it's dropped.  Plus having that larger stuffy attached can make it easier to catch before it drops to the floor {those light pacifiers can drop in a flash!}.

Holiday Gift Ideas for Babies

I was sent this cute WubbaNub Pink Bear to try out with the Attic Baby.  It is small enough for her little hands to grasp and manipulate.  While she can't quite get the pacifier back in her mouth on her own, she can grab onto it and can even sometimes keep it from dropping onto the floor.   She has had this type of soothie since we got home from the hospital, so there was no adjustment to using it.  The stuffed animal is soft, cuddly, and cute and she seems to like playing with it.  It can be a good distraction when she's fussy too.

When my preschooler saw it, she thought it was so small and cute that she tried to steal it from her sister!  {She hasn't had a pacifier since she was 1 yr old but the cute cuddly animal made her a bit jealous.  After all, why can't she have what sissy has?}

Holiday Gifts for Babies

The only issue I have with what we call her "Wubby" is cleaning it.  You can put it in the washing machine to get the stuffy clean and then sanitize the pacifier by itself.  This requires air drying the bear, which I usually do overnight.  Sanitizing the pacifier can also get the bear wet again if you're not careful.  But since we have to wash pacifiers frequently anyway, we have made this a part of our routine.

WubbaNub has a variety of cutie pies, including this limited edition holiday Reindeer.  How cute is that for Baby's First Christmas?

The WubbaNub gets two thumbs up on the cuteness factor and two coos from my baby girl.  It'd make a great gift for baby showers too!

That is a very cute pacifier, and your daughter is precious too. I like that it makes finding the pacifier easier. That's cute that her sister liked the stuffed animal too.
