Are books on your holiday wish list?  There are two great Christmas themed compilation books on my Holiday Gift Guide this year that you are sure to enjoy:  Where Treetops Glisten & An Amish Second Christmas.

An Amish Second Christmas by Tricia Goyer, Beth Wiseman, Ruth Reid, and Kathleen Fuller is next on my reading list.  I've always been fascinated by the Amish culture and find their Christmas traditions very interesting!

What is Second Christmas?

According to author Tricia Goyer, an Amish Second Christmas
in some areas is celebrated the next day or a few weeks later.  It represents the visit of the wise men to the Christ child.    The Amish celebrate a simple holiday; usually only the children receive presents.  And they do not decorate their homes like we do with Christmas trees and holiday decor.

Keep reading for more information about the book and enter to win a copy of the novel.

About the Book:

Christmas novels, holiday books

Cuddle up with An Amish Second Christmas, featuring four heartwarming novellas; When Christmas Comes Again, A Gift for Anne Marie, Her Christmas Pen Pal, and The Christmas Aprons.

When Christmas Comes Again by Beth Wiseman
With heavy hearts, Katherine Zook and her children must celebrate Christmas without their close loved one. When a mysterious Englishman begins to show up in the most unlikely places, Katherine becomes suspicious... and hopeful.

Her Christmas Pen Pal by Kathleen Fuller
Joy Stolzfus is shocked when her boyfriend explains that he is interested in other women. Heartbroken, she pours her heart out in a letter which mistakenly falls into the hands of Noah Esh. He decides to write her back and a once hopeless situation sparks a new love interest.

A Gift for Anne Marie by Ruth Reid
Perfection is Anne Marie Smucker's standard. She works hard to achieve that goal in every aspect of her life. Just when all seems to fall perfectly in line, she discovers that her widowed mother is getting married and their entire family is moving. Now, her orderly life has changed completely. But could this be just what she needed?

The Christmas Aprons by Tricia Goyer
Esther receives many requests for her freshly baked pies. When she bakes a pie for a Chirstmas fundraiser, she meets Ammon Schwartz. Little does she know, he may be just what her recipe calls for.

I used to really enjoy Christmas songs until I started to work retail and they play the same songs over and over. I do enjoy making cookies and candies.

A gift guide is something new on a blog, but it is a good idea. Introducing the Christmas books will be good to have on the list, too.
