Bop It! Tetris {2013 Holiday Gift Guide} #holidaygiftguide #ad

I received a Bop It! Tetris® game from Hasbro for review purposes.  All opinions are my own.

Bop It! Tetris® is a fun new game from Hasbro recommended for ages 8+ that is sure to make Family Game Night a blast!

Hasbro, holiday gifts, family game night

With two game modes and four game levels, you can challenge yourself or even play with friends or family.  You need to complete Tetris® puzzles to unlock new levels.  As shapes appear lit up on the screen, you slam them into the corresponding space on the opposite side screen.  Sometimes you will have to rotate the panels to fit them into place, which is not always an easy task as the timer gets faster and faster and the challenges get more difficult.

I like that it has volume control levels: blasting, loud, medium, quiet or silent.  That's a huge plus for when mom or dad doesn't want to hear the noise.

This game challenges not only your reflexes, but also your thinking skills.  I've never tried either Bop It! or Tetris®, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty addictive.  My hubby took it from me and pretty much wiped out my high scores!

You may find it so addicting that you want to keep it to yourself.  {Shh... this is for my teen for Christmas but I think we may have to get one for my hubby too!} It's that much fun!

I love that Tetris requires you to actually plan moves ahead of time. It's challenging and I bet this game would be too. If I win, I would give this to my niece for Christmas. She has mentioned how much she wants one.

This is one of my favorite toys. I love when you play with others and pass it. Not sure if I would keep it for myself or give it to a family member.

I like that it's something that can be played alone. All of our grandchildren have siblings, but I remember being a kid & having a hard time finding anyone to play a game. This would be ideal in that situation.
