The backpack style was very comfortable.  The padded straps helped since there was a lot of weight being carried around the amusement park.  My hubby prefers to only use one strap, which made trying to push a low stroller around or carry our daughter a little awkward.  I'd suggest using both straps if you're trying to multi-task like that.
