Teaser Tuesdays: The Jane Austen Guide to Life

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"Whatever our faults and failings, whatever scrapes or difficult situations we get ourselves into, however serious we may be about making sure our character is sound and our actions right, Austen would never want us to lose our sense of humor--or to deprive others of theirs.  A woman of substance would never be too serious to laugh, especially at herself."

--pg. 39 The Jane Austen Guide to Life by Lori Smith

Stay tuned for a review and giveaway of this book!

What are you reading? If you have a teaser, you can head on over to Miz B's blog or share it here by leaving a comment.

Nice thought! I will have to admit that I am not a Jane Austen fan but I am interested in this book. My teasers this week are from Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton and Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. Happy reading!
