Aloha Friday: Happy New Year

1/7/11

Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

New Year's Eve was a great night for us. My in-laws got to meet our baby girl for the first time. We rang in the New Year watching Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve, sipped sparkling cider, and enjoyed time with family.

My Question For You This Week:  How'd You Celebrate New Year's Eve?

We spent our New Year's Eve playing games - Phase 10, Ticket to Ride, even Candyland.

Glad you had a wonderful time!

We stayed in and watched fireworks from our windows and had a nice dessert and did the countdown on tv.

Well, I stayed at home on the couch and was in bed by 11:30 (I was sick, had bronchitis) and my husband was working. I did get up at midnight to watch the ball drop with my kids. Not very exciting, I know:o)

Happy New Year

I spent it in NYC! I went to a party in the city with some friends. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
