Aloha Friday: Frustration

12/10/10

Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

I have been trying to schedule my induction for several days.  The first time, the scheduler called and got the hospital wrong so I told her which hospital and she said she'd have to call me back on Thursday.  I waited until 3pm Thursday and had no phone call.  So I called her, and she said it was scheduled for the WRONG hospital again.  When I told her what hospital, she said she'd have to call me back.  Two hours later, she calls and says "I'm sorry the person at that hospital went home for the day.  I'll have to call you back tomorrow."

Mind you, this is a busy time of year to get your induction scheduled and I was told to do it ASAP as slots fill up before Christmas.  You have exactly one week before your date when they start the scheduling process and I have already lost time.  So today, I will be calling once again to see if I can get this scheduled at the correct hospital....and I will be trying not to lose my temper!  (You'd think they wouldn't want to tick off the pregnant mamas!)

By the way, if you do not see me blogging for a little while, we will be in the process of having the baby and getting adjusted to having a new family member.

My Question For You This Week:  What gets you frustrated?

I sure hope they get their wires uncrossed soon and you get your induction scheduled at the right hospital!

What frustrates me is when I get the house all nice and clean, and not 5 minutes later both hubby and Princess Nagger have created their own little tornado mess. ;)

I hope you get the whole induction thing straightened out, I'd be pretty frustrated, too! Good luck!

Right now I'm pretty frustrated with holiday traffic and all the crowds at the stores. It happens every year and bugs me every year!

Probably too man things. Today it was my son's constant disobedience while we were shopping. It was so frustrating and embarrassing and I had a minor melt down in the middle of Hallmark

One thing that gets me frustrated is thinking I have enough time to get somewhere and then at the last minute 10 more things arise and I have to be late.

Aloha!

What frustrates me most is a slow computer, or writing out a long and positive comment on a blog or site and then have it come back as an error and the comment is not saved!

Wishing you the best of luck with your scheduling. Next tiome you speak with that person tell her you are grateful she is not involved in your procedure.
