Teaser Tuesdays: That's (Not Exactly) Amore by Tracey Bateman

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"A daytime date is for guys who are just testing the waters before committing to a nighttime date. If Mark had been scheduled to work that night, it would have meant something different. Because daytime would have been the only time he could take me out. But since he was, in fact, off that night, took me on a daytime date anyway, and then never called....Well, there's no point in going on, is there?"

--pg. 61 That's (Not Exactly) Amore by Tracey Bateman Book Three in the Drama Queens Series

I find this really hilarious! My hubby and I went on a daytime date and we've been married for 3 years now. :)

What are you reading?  If you have a teaser, you can head on over to Miz B's blog or share it here by leaving a comment.

I love this sentence! My hubby and I are probably more inclined to go on a daytime date since we have little kids at home. Our kids would probably go to bed fine with a babysitter, but I always envision my son screaming while grandma tries to desperately feed him a bottle, all with the lovely accompaniment of my dramatic toddler's cries for "one more story." Great blog--I'n your newest follower from MBC. Follow me back at www.achristianmommy.com.
