Aloha Friday: Sweatin' To The Goodies


Here is how Aloha Friday works from Kailani's blog An Island Life:

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

I have been trying to get back into the routine of working out slowly but surely. I love my elliptical machine! It is a great way to get some cardio in and makes your legs feel like jello. To get motivated I crank up my iPod with some rockin' tunes. My favorite is the latest Creed album. Here's one of my fav songs to work out to:

Anything with a good beat...doesn't really matter what kind because I love all kinds of music. Well, except rap...just not a big fan.

Well, I love all kinds of music, but I have to have very up-beat music (i.e. pop, hip-hop) in order for me to keep a steady work-out pace. I like most genres, from country to rock to hip-hop/pop/r&b to jazz. But only few can I work out to.

I listen to a book on my MP3 player when I run. The other workouts I do are to dvds and they have backgroung music included.

I've really gotten into yoga over the last 6 months or so so my workout music is now calm and soothing. *ahhhhh* lol.

My ipod is a mix of stuff. As long as it is fast and has a ggod beat. But the first song I always listen too is Bob Segar's "Roll Away"
